Stumptown Songwriter Circle comes to LaSalle Grange on Oct. 7

The second annual Stumptown Songwriter Circle is coming to the LaSalle Grange Theatre at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7.

The performance will feature original songs and stories with Flathead Valley songwriters Brent Jameson, Nick Spear and Halladay Quist.

Jameson is a rock/reggae/blues/soul performer and songwriter. Hailing from Whitefish, he has toured extensively with his band Jameson and the Sordid Seeds. He performs mostly originals intermixed with covers. For more information, visit http://www.sordidseeds.com.

Spear is a Montana-based singer songwriter. His songs have been featured on televisions A&E and Lifetime networks, onstage at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s current production of “Off the Rails,” and at various art installations and symposia nationwide. His song “Song We Sing” is in regular rotation on local radio station The River 103.1 FM. He is also the lead singer/guitarist for the New Wave Time Trippers. The daughter of Montana musician Rob Quist, Halladay Quist grew up in the Flathead Valley. At age 6 she began playing the piano and discovered her passion. Over the years, Quist has played festivals and theaters all across the Northwest.
