A man contacted the Kalispell Police Department to report he locked himself out of his apartment and his George Foreman grill was still on inside. The man was worried the grill would start burning soon and noted it had been on for 10 minutes. Dispatch was unable to reach the apartment manager. Law enforcement responded to the scene and unlocked the man’s apartment.

A male and female inside a dark red station wagon allegedly pulled up beside a 14-year-old boy and asked him if he wanted a ride. When the boy reportedly refused transportation, they drove away, headed north on U.S. 93. The caller described the male as having reddish-gray hair in a pony tail and the female as being heavy-set with dark, curly hair. She also requested extra patrols in the area.

A reportedly half-naked male was seen entering multiple vehicles. The man’s pants allegedly kept falling down and he did not have a shirt on. Officers made contact with the suspect who reportedly told them he took a box of Kleenex from one vehicle. The vehicle’s owner declined to press charges.

Dispatch received multiple calls regarding a male who was allegedly wearing nothing but a blanket and carrying an American flag. An employee at a local gas station reported seeing the same man who allegedly kept dropping the blanket and exposing himself. Law enforcement made contact with the man and reported he still had his blanket with him and everything was OK.

A caller reported a female bear and her two cubs alongside the road in Whitefish, according to Whitefish Police Department dispatch logs.

A woman reported seeing “everyone” on their cellphones while driving and wanted to notify law enforcement so they could “make some money” writing tickets.

A bouncer reported a male allegedly began throwing punches at him when the bouncer tried to kick him out of a Whitefish bar. The bar staff reported they did not want to press charges, but wanted him trespassed if found.

Multiple juveniles were reportedly placing objects in the street for cars to run over while they hid in trees nearby. Law enforcement was unable to locate the individuals in question.

Four people were reportedly fighting between two local bars. One man was allegedly bleeding and fell down. Officers responded to the scene, but the victim reportedly did not require assistance.
