Jennifer Li offers oil painting workshop

Artist Jennifer Li is offering an oil painting class at the Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell.

Spend Saturday afternoons painting with Li as she shares her expertise and insights in oil painting. These studio classes will cover value, composition, brushwork and the palette. Students will paint still lifes for the first four sessions and from a live model for the fifth and sixth sessions. All levels of experience are welcome.

The six-class series begins Saturday, Sept. 16, and continues Sept. 23, Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28. All classes will run from 1 to 4 p.m.

Cost for six sessions is $270, or $243 for Hockaday members.
