Marlene Hill, 80

Marlene Hill, 80, of Columbia Falls, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 17, 2017, at Hidden Meadows Memory Care in Columbia Falls.

Marlene was born in Libby to Earl and Ida Lindsay. She attended school in Libby.

She was a homemaker most of her life; however, she was an Avon lady, and also worked at the Gas Shack in Kalispell and at Mike’s Conoco in Columbia Falls.

She enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, her cats and spending time with her husband Lavon.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ida; infant daughter, Diana; infant granddaughter, Lindsay Hill; sisters-in-Iaw, Patty Hill and Edna Lindsay; and recently, the love of her life for 63 years, Lavon P. Hill Sr.

Marlene is survived by daughters, Deana (Terry) Green, and Donna Blake; sons Lavon P. Hill Jr. (Lorna), and Lonnie Hill; brother, LaMar Lindsay; sister, Joan Larson; brother-in-law, Gene Hill; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Beehive Homes and Hidden Meadows Memory Care in Columbia Falls for their support in her final days.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Columbia Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Columbia Mortuary. TJ Wendt of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
