Artist Kay Lynn offers children's art classes

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 1, Kalispell artist Kay Lynn will be offering art classes to children in her studio at 258 Riverside Drive, Kalispell.

Classes will run every Saturday beginning Oct. 1 for six weeks. Sessions for students in grades 1 through 3 will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Older student sessions for grades 4 through 6 will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

Students will explore a variety of art materials and techniques, such as clay sculpture, drawing and perspective and paper mask-making. Materials are included in the fee for the six weeks of classes, which is $90. Healthy snacks, lots of fun and music are included, too.
