'Barn Bash - Bluegrass, Brews and Views' to be held Saturday

| September 21, 2017 1:32 PM

The Diamond B Ranch, a permanently conserved 192-acre family farm located along the Flathead River, will host the third annual “Barn Bash — Bluegrass, Brews and Views” to benefit the conservation work of the Flathead Land Trust on Saturday, Sept. 23.

The event barn doors open at 5:30 p.m. with silent auction bidding and local craft brews, wine and appetizers. A locally-sourced dinner catered by Piggyback BBQ will be followed by live bluegrass music by The Acousticals. Topping it off will be a live drive and auction rounding out the evening.

“We have some of the best scenic views and wildlife habitat in Montana right here in the Flathead Valley,” said Paul Travis, Flathead Land Trust executive director. “The Barn Bash is a fun event where you can enjoy good music and local food and give back to protecting those views, along with sandhill crane and bird habitat, clean water, and our Flathead farming heritage.

“Everyone is invited to join us for a memorable evening to celebrate and help protect more places like the Diamond B and the exceptional sandhill crane habitat in the West Valley; places that are vital to our future in a quickly changing landscape and growing community.”
