Mystery morning music spooks resident
According to the Whitefish Police Department, a caller couldn’t figure out why someone was playing music on and off since 6 a.m. The caller later discovered the music was coming from their own house when they found a deactivated cellphone alarm going off.
Someone called and said their was water pouring out of a commercial building. The fire department got the water shut off.
A man was found leaning against a woman’s back door, and he looked at her when she locked the door. When police talked to him, the man said he’d try to catch a train tomorrow.
According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, someone in a Chevy pickup was shooting pellets in a parking lot, but a woman thought they were shooting directly at her trailer. The caller’s son was outside when this happened and he states he was shot at too.
According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a woman said a mechanic was trying to get money for work he did not do, and wouldn’t release her vehicle until he was paid. She said she had evidence he didn’t do any of the work. She said she is going to pursue an attorney.
A caller was worried a man and woman in ball caps with a gas can secured on top of the vehicle on U.S. 2 were “out of place.”
A woman reported two dogs running loose and growling and that she had to stay in her car until the dogs left her yard. Police found an open front gate at the dog owners house and confined them.
Someone in Kalispell said they left a screw driver outside overnight and now it is gone.
Someone from Seeley Lake said she was receiving prank calls from someone who lived in Bigfork. They talked and determined it wasn’t the Bigfork resident making the prank calls, but they are still concerned how someone is calling her.
A neighbor of a person who owns a blue heeler said they have an electric fence, but maybe the battery went out, because the dog was trying to bite the tires of cars that go by.
A caller advised police that a deer had bitten the external HVAC cord to the house and was twitching on the ground. A game warden was called to remove the deer.
A Hungry Horse man reported four tan bear hides, two Western riding saddles and other items were taken from his garage.
A man called police saying people were attempting to take the vehicle he “won” in a divorce on behalf of the ex-wife.
A man said eight years ago he was helping a friend and they let him keep his vehicle there. Now the car is appearing for sale on Craigslist. He did admit the property owners contacted him to move the car over the years it sat on their property.
