Conlan KOs Guzman in 2nd round

TUCSON, Ariz. — Former Olympic bronze medalist Michael Conlan of Belfast, Ireland, knocked out Kenny Guzman of Whitefish late in the second round of their scheduled six-round fight on Friday night at the Tucson Convention Center.

Both fighters entered the ring with 3-0 professional records.

Guzman hit the canvas after taking a right-handed shot to the chin from Conlan. Guzman made it up before the 10-second count, but the referee stopped the bout.

Conlan has won all his bouts by knock outs.
