Bigfork Film Festival to begin Oct. 5

Tickets for the Bigfork Retrospective Film Festival, which runs Oct. 5 through 8 at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts, are available now online.

Last fall, the film festival featured 14 classic Western films. This year the event will showcase 13 Oscar-winning films, spanning multiple genres. Films to be screened this year include “The Godfather,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “Bonnie and Clyde,” “Some Like It Hot,” “Schindler’s List,” “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “The African Queen,” “Interrupted Melody,” “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “Sound of Music” and “West Side Story.”

In addition to the film screenings, the festival will also feature guest speakers from Hollywood to introduce selected films.
