The Kalispell Lakers Baseball Camp, for ages 8-15, will be held at Griffin Field from 5-9 p.m. on April 20.

The sign-up deadline is April 16. Cost of the camp is $40 for one camper or $75 for two.

Lakers players and coaches will offer instruction on a variety of baseball fundamentals including throwing, fielding and hitting.

Third annual Braves Golf Scramble to

benefit FHS football

The Braves Touchdown Club will host the 3rd annual Braves Golf Scramble to benefit Flathead football on May 12 at Buffalo Hill Golf Club.

A shotgun start is slated for 10 a.m. The tournament format is four-man scramble. Golf carts and a post-round meal are included in the $85 cost.

Corporate sponsorships are available for interested businesses.

Kalispell Lakers to host golf tournament at Village Greens

The Kalispell Lakers will host their annual golf tournament on April 28 at Village Greens Golf Course in Kalispell.

The four-person scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

Cost is $78 per person or $310 for a four-person team and includes 18 holes of golf with cart and lunch.

Glacier’s Todd, Dixon state javelin qualifiers

MISSOULA — Glacier’s Evan Todd (170 feet, 6 inches) and Katie Dixon (115-3) both met the Class AA state qualifying standard for the javelin on Tuesday in a dual track and field meet with Missoula Sentinel.

Both athletes finished second.

The AA state standard in the javelin for boys is 170 and 115 for girls.
