Was it the cat that ate the rat?

A headless rat was found on a caller’s back stairs, according to Flathead County Sheriff’s Office logs. While the caller had no proof, she was worried it could have been retaliation by her former therapist, who she claimed was stealing her meds. She also acknowledged it could have been a cat that ate the rat, but nonetheless she requested extra patrol.

Threatening text messages were suspected to be a scam. The messages stated “We are coming for you with a gun,” and “We know who you are, we know where you live.” The reporting party wanted it logged.

A caller said a neighbor dispute was likely to heat up again after the snow melts. The caller claimed his neighbor sprayed poison in his yard to make his dogs sick. He is worried it will start up again as the weather warms.

Three daredevils on motor bikes were popping wheelies. None of them were wearing helmets.

Potato trucks were seen driving recklessly on Columbia Falls Stage Road.

According to Kalispell Police call logs, two men wearing bandannas to cover their faces were seen walking down Third Street. The reporting caller was worried they were looking to break into cars.

A driver allegedly flashed a gun at another driver then rolled down his window and asked “How do you like this?”

Alarming text messages from an unknown number were received by a caller. One read “I know where you live,” followed by “I’m going to kill you.”

A caller told the Columbia Falls Police Department that someone at the library threatened to beat him up.

A man was heard screaming “I’m not psycho” followed by crashing sounds at a home on Second Avenue. Police arrived to find a woman gathering her belongings to leave.
