Vern G. Seaman, 78

Vern George Seaman, age 78, of Kalispell passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Vern was born in Chinook, Montana to George and Esther. Vern went to Country School in Chinook and the family moved to Havre where Vern finished his schooling. Vern married Patty and to this union two sons were born, Garry and Mike. Vern started in the mobile home business in Great Falls, then moved to Kalispell and opened Seaman Mobile Home Sales. Vern and Patty ran a very successful business for several years. Vern became president of the Mobile Home Association and did it with great pride. Vern could park a big 16x80 mobile anywhere with such ease. No one knew more about this business than Vern. Vern and Patty were later divorced. Years later, Vern married his best friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David and sisters Margaret and Diana. Vern is survived by his wife Shari, who was by his side when he died. Vern is also survived by his sons Garry and Mike; stepchildren Gregg and Gayanne; grandchildren Gregory, Kayla, Eric, Clark, Madison and Justin; stepgrandson Colten; siblings Donald, Paul (Rosalie), Luella, Betty Ann (Gene), Vickie (Paul), and Janet (Don) and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Vern’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Darlington Cremation and Burial Service, 3408 U.S. 2 East, Kalispell. Chaplain Drew Buckner will officiate. Inurnment will follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. An open house reception will follow at the Eagles Club, 37 1st St W, Kalispell.
