Bear (spray) season is here

A man walked into a local store, pushed over a cookie display and started cussing at employees, according to Kalispell Police Department dispatch logs. He eventually moved on, but one employee was cut on the arm from the falling cookie display. They denied medical attention.

Someone called the police to report a man allegedly sprayed another man with pepper spray. Some of the residual mace got into a nearby store, but after an employee aired it out everything was OK.

Another person called to report a woman had knocked on her door asking to come in out of the cold because she had nowhere to stay.

Someone called to report some kids riding skateboards and bikes in the middle of U.S. 93 carrying an orange road cone.

Another person reported people parked outside in a Ford F-150 talking too loudly late at night.

One man called the cops because his neighbor parked his truck in front of his driveway and blocked him in. This isn’t the first time it had happened, he said, and he wanted it moved.

One man called saying he planned on going to the Second Amendment rally at the high school and wanted to know if he could tote his semi-automatic rifle with him to the event.

One person called to report a person that looked like they were 19 years old skating through a park on a skateboard holding a beer.
