On Thursday, April 19, a Patriots’ Day Rally in support of gun rights will be held at the Flathead County Fairgrounds.

Organizers say that the event, held on the 243rd anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, will highlight the right to bear arms and the need to elect pro-Second Amendment civil magistrates.

Speakers will include: Chuck Baldwin, pastor of Liberty Fellowship and the Constitution Party’s 2008 presidential nominee; Rick Jore, former Montana legislator; Rep. Seth Berglee, R-Bridger; Mark Wicks, Republican candidate for the Montana public Service Commission’s District 1; Bob Welzel, Republican candidate for Montana House District 7; Jerry O’Neil, former Montana legislator and candidate for Montana House District 3; and Cindy Dyson, Libertarian candidate for Montana House District 5.

The rally is sponsored by Liberty Fellowship, Frontier Guns & Ammo and Hosanna Health Care.

It will begin at 7 p.m. today, April 19 at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Expo Building. Doors will open at 6:30.

Note that firearms are prohibited in county buildings.
