The Daily Inter Lake

Glacier and Flathead both turned in strong showings on Saturday at the Kalispell Invitational tennis tournament on the courts at Flathead Valley Community College.

Glacier’s Maria Frampton took the No. 1 singles title while teammates McKenna Johnson and Maggie Rudbach along with and Hailey Iverson and Janey Dittman were victors and No. 1 and 3 doubles, respectively.

Flathead’s Emma Hawkins finished first at No. 3 singles and Tess Huckeba and Olivia Mohatt were the champions at No. 2 doubles.

Also competing were the three Missoula schools — Big Sky, Hellgate and Sentinel.

All five schools are back in action on Saturday at the Missoula Invitational.
