A day after running away from the field to set the 3200-meter meet record at the Top 10 track meet on Missoula, Annie Hill dominated the latest Montana Track & Field Elite list in similar fashion.

The Glacier standout holds the top times in the state in both the 400 and the 800, and the second-best time in Montana this season belongs to Hill in the 1,600 and 3,200. She is the only athlete with top-two marks in four events.

Bigfork’s Bryn Morley has also stood out among girls distance runners, logging the fastest time this season in the 1,600 and the second-fastest, behind only Hill, in the 800.

Madison Boles of Flathead and Angellica Street of Columbia Falls, second in the high jump and javelin, respectively, were the only other area girls to crack the top three in any event.

Glacier’s Hunter Nicholson topped area boys with a top mark in the triple jump and the second-best mark in the long jump. Ethan Larson, also of Glacier, also cracked the top three of two events, plaing first thus far in the 100 and third in the 200.

Flathead’s Ben Perrin holds the top time in the 3200.

Chad Hemsley leads a strong cast of Flathead hurdlers with the state’s top time in the 300 hurdles. Flathead’s Dawson Rinehart, who is also third in the 110 hurdles, and Camas Rinehart join Glacier’s Drew Deck within the top seven of the 300 hurdles.

Glacier has been strong in the relays, clocking the top time in the 4x100 and second-best mark in the 4x400. Flathead is third in the 4x100.

Glacier’s Bennett McChesney ranks second in the javelin, and Flathead’s Michael Lee is third in the shot put.
