George William Thompson, 88

George William Thompson, 88, of Port Angeles, Washington, passed away March 21, 2018.

George was born to Harold and Nancy Thompson in 1929.

He married his soul mate Cleona. They had 58 wonderful years.

He proudly served in the Air Force, logged for over 30 years and worked at Costco until he passed.

George was an amazing man, husband, dad, brother, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. He smiled all the time; he was very loving and full of life! Dad never met a stranger! He sure will be missed by all!

George was preceded in death by his wife Cleona, sons Dean, Donny and Ray J., and many siblings.

George is survived by his girlfriend, Donna Willenberg; daughters, Nancy and Gus Mariner, Sue Thompson, and Rachel and Dale Dawley; brother, Hubert, and Nancy; and sisters, Leanna and Ruth. He is loved and missed by many grandkids and great-grandkids; sister-in-law, Shirley; brothers-in-law, Ray, Jim and Jackie; and loved and missed by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life and potluck will be held in Montana at 2 p.m. July 28 at the Mary Jane Church residence at 785 Spotted Bear Road by Martin City. Please bring your favorite dish.
