Mental lapse costs man 3 grand

A man reported leaving $3,100 in cash in an envelope on the back of his truck while he was at the bank. When he realized the cash was gone, he went back, but couldn’t find it. He then said he saw a red pickup stop along the road and grab the money, but he didn’t see the license plate.

A pistol-packing, 94-year-old granny reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that she continued to get suspicious phone calls. She uses a wheelchair and she keeps the gun because she doesn’t want to be robbed again. A deputy told her to be careful to not shoot at people who may come in, but she said that she knows how take care of herself.
