Detour at Grandview Drive begins

Due to construction activities on the Flathead Valley Community College campus, traffic on Grandview Drive will be temporarily rerouted onto Ponderosa Street Aug. 6 to 10.

Vehicles traveling east on Grandview Drive from U.S. 93 can access the parking lot of FVCC’s Early Childhood Center and Arts and Technology Building by turning south (right) on Ponderosa Street, following Ponderosa to its terminus further down Grandview Drive, and then turning north (left) toward campus.

Vehicles approaching campus from the south on Grandview Drive will be rerouted west onto Ponderosa Street.

Beginning Aug. 13, there will be intermittent lane closures on Grandview Drive adjacent to campus. Grandview Drive will remain open to through traffic at all times.

Traffic flow patterns on Grandview Drive are expected to return to normal by Aug. 27.
