Man charged in Kalispell stabbing death

Kalispell Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with a stabbing death in west Kalispell on Sunday morning.

Kalispell resident Ryan Lamb, 34, was arrested Sunday and charged with deliberate homicide. He is in the Flathead County Jail.

According to a media release from Kalispell Police, officers responded to the scene at 306 Two Mile Drive early Sunday where they found a 31-year-old man dead with possible stab wounds. The name of the victim has not been released.

Yellow crime tape was wrapped around the apartment building in west Kalispell while officers with the Major Crime Unit investigated the scene. The location is west of North Meridian and north of U.S. 2 near the Gateway Village Apartments.

Kalispell Police Investigations Captain Doug Overman told the Inter Lake on Sunday evening that the investigation was ongoing. People with information are asked to call Overman at 758-7793 or detective Jim Wardensky at 758-7794.
