Reckless drivers not keen on the criticism
According to a Flathead County Sheriff’s report, two men riding all-terrain vehicles in a gravel driveway of a restaurant allegedly threatened to “put knots” in another man’s head when he approached them about their reckless driving.
A Kalispell man, believed to be intoxicated, reported his neighbor for threats that had not yet occurred. According to the report, the man said he was afraid to ask his neighbor a table he had lent him because he was a combat veteran and feared confrontation. The man was advised to ask for his table back and call 911 only if an argument actually ensued.
A man was reportedly seen walking down Grand Avenue in Bigfork, setting off fireworks as he went.
Someone called the Kalispell Police Department to report the upstairs neighbors constantly smoking weed that allegedly had saturated her apartment, forcing her kids to leave frequently. She was concerned for her children’s health and said the lease indicated the residence was supposed to be drug-free.
A person reported a woman had driven off without paying for $30 worth of gas. The vehicle was a green mini van with a broken-out back window.
A caller reported a lot of smoke in the area. When an officer checked the area, he found a couple had started a fire in a BBQ pit and were making dinner.
Someone reported three shoplifters stole cold medicine. When an officer arrived, nothing could be found and no charges were filed.
A caller reported waking up to a teen-age boy standing next to her bed. He said he wanted someone to talk to. She said she didn’t recognize him and he soon left.
Someone reported a mini potbelly pig at her home. The caller said the pig has showed up univited before and wanted animal control to come and get the animal.
