Paul Bunyan sighting near Whitefish

Someone called the Whitefish Police Department to report a shirtless man carrying an ax walking down U.S. 93. Another caller reported the man walking in the other direction. He was still carrying the ax.

A California man was advised about a city ordinance against selling artwork on the sidewalk.

A caller said there was a large group of people partying in the backyard and that they had strung lights up that were intruding on his property.

According to Kalispell Police Department call logs, a white car was pulling a woman inside a shopping cart around a parking lot. Before the car left the lot to get on U.S. 93, the woman got back inside the car.

A woman who is selling her home said a car had driven past her residence repeatedly and was using a spotlight. She thought they were preparing to steal some of the items she had sitting in the front yard.

A store employee reported a man who had come to the business for three straight days to watch the people at work.

A driver said someone in a vehicle ahead of her threw a lit cigarette out the window. She wanted an officer to talk to the woman about the fire danger and littering.

A store employee called to report an older man wearing a green shirt and cargo pants who was making others in the store uncomfortable. The man said he was being electrocuted and wanted the employee to call the FBI.

A shirtless man wearing Wranglers with his hair slicked back into a ponytail was acting drunk and wandering in and out of traffic.

A man who was involved in an accident a month ago reported the other person gave him a fake insurance number and didn’t actually have any coverage.

A woman said her ex-boyfriend wouldn’t return her keys to her, but as she was speaking with a dispatcher, he did give them to her.
