How out of tune are you?

A person called the Kalispell Police Department to report a man walking down the road and yelling. It was determined he was just singing.

Someone reported seeing flashlights near a vehicle. It turned out to be a homeowner who had set up a kiddie pool for a birthday party.

A person reported the theft of a boat motor from behind a car wash. The person had video footage and sent photos of a vehicle suspected of the theft to the officer investigating.

A caller reported a dog that had been left in a vehicle when the temperature hit 100 degrees in the city. An officer who responded saw that the dog appeared to be severely heat-stressed and had no water. The temperature in the car ranged from near 100 to 124 degrees. The dog was taken from the vehicle by an animal welfare officer and a note was left for the owner to call. An hour later, the owner called to see how to get the dog back.

Someone reported a man harassing people that were holding religious signs. He yelled at them and made Nazi hand gestures toward them. He eventually left.

A caller reported being stalked at a coffee shop. She said the stalker was in the parking lot for more than a hour, revving their engine.

A man called to report that his father-in-law had threatened to beat him up. The man had been drinking heavily and the argument was over the removal of a door from the bathroom.

A restaurant worker reported a drunk driver had passed through the drive-through. She knew this because the woman tried to plug her phone into the window.

A man called about a school bus that was parked on the street for a week. While it wasn’t blocking any mailboxes or driveways, he was upset because it was taking up several parking spaces and he thought people were living in it.

A store employee called and wanted an officer to come over to scare a 9-year-old child straight after he caught the kid stealing.

Someone reported a man and a woman who refused to pay for their dinner. When an officer spoke with the customers, they said they weren’t happy with their food. They said they’d pay for their drinks and appetizers, but not the entrees.
