Bob and Kathy Nockleby

Bob and Kathy (Bull) Nockleby of Lakeside celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Hawaii with their children and granddaughter. Bob’s brothers and their spouses also hosted a celebration in Lakeside with local family members.

The couple were married Aug. 21, 1968, at Christ Church Episcopal in Kalispell.

The couple are both 1966 graduates of Flathead County High School. Bob graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and Kathy graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dental Hygiene. They lived and worked in Minnesota where both of their children were born. They returned to Montana in 1978 and operated Nockleby’s Four Seasons Department Store in Ronan until 1995, then returned to the Flathead Valley where Bob worked for Thrivent Financial and Kathy worked as a dental hygienist.

Their daughter Lisa lives and works in California. Their son Jason and wife Shannon and granddaughter McKenzie live in Arizona.
