No shirt, no shoes, no underwear - no service

According to the Kalispell Police Department call logs, three pairs of tennis shoes, a shirt and underwear were found on the front steps of a business. The caller wanted an officer to come look at the items.

Someone stole a baby stroller from a woman’s porch. Fortunately, there was no child in it. It turned out to be a civil dispute.

A caller reported a man slumped over the steeling wheel of his vehicle. When an officer checked, it turned out the man was just sleeping.

A casino worker reported a woman sleeping in a grassy area and some customers were concerned. Shortly after the person called, the woman got up and left.

A caller reported a “low life” walking down the street with a bike. The caller thought the man stole the bike and claimed he was a suspect in a theft from his home. When an officer investigated, he found a bike in a rack at an area business, but didn’t see the man.

A caller reported a fight between two women. One of the women left, but another woman, who had been drinking heavily, remained at the scene.

Someone reported having issues with a 15-year-old boy who he said pulled a knife on his kids and was poking sharp sticks through the fence at his dogs.

A person reported a reckless driver that was speeding through the roundabouts and lost a topper off the truck and other items out of the back of the vehicle when it crossed the median.

A caller reported he believed someone was prowling outside his home after he heard a noise.

Someone called to report a man in a long brown coat who stopped in front of some shrubbery on the street and urinated. The caller thought it may be a man who had pulled a knife on an officer in the past.

A woman said she was punched in the ribs. She said the man that did it had been drinking. Eventually she left and he went to sleep in his truck.

A woman reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department that her dispute with neighbors was escalating after she returned home and found that her neighbors had “hocked loogies” on the chairs on her porch.
