Janette A. Nicklaus, 80

Janette A. Nicklaus, 80, entered through the gates of heaven on Aug. 26, 2018, on the arm of her husband Ray.

Janette was born in North Dakota on Nov. 26, 1973.

Janette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She married Raymond Nicklaus on Aug. 24, 1954.

Together, they are survived by their six children, Donald (Catherine) Nicklaus, Joan (Robin) McElrath, Betty (Donny) Whilhelm, Cheryl (Carl) Nelson, Karen (Leonard) Wilkey, and Randy Nicklaus. She also is survived by two brothers, four sisters, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.

Janette and Ray resided in the Flathead Valley until 2003, when they moved across the mountains to Valier.

Janette is being cremated. A celebration of life for Janette and Ray will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Outlaw Inn in Kalispell.
