Constance “Connie” Guest, 78, died of natural causes on Dec. 1, 2018, at the Brendan House in Kalispell surrounded by her family.

Connie was born on Sept. 24, 1940, in Kalispell to Melvin Goldhammer and Loretta Kair Goldhammer. She graduated from Flathead County High in Kalispell in 1958.

She relocated to Great Falls and married Michael Guest who was attending photography school. After Mike finished school, they relocated back to Kalispell.

Mike and Connie, along with his brother Gary, purchased the Guest Photo Art & Books. Connie worked alongside her husband as a manager and bookkeeper. They enjoyed spending time with friends and family. They loved entertaining, playing cards, camping and motorcycles. After purchasing a travel trailer, they began traveling to various places. In 1985, at 44 years old, Connie suffered a debilitating stroke. She lost her beloved husband, Mike, to cancer in 1986. She then continued to reside in her home, taken care of by her children. Connie was a resident at the Brendan House following a fall in 2013 and where she passed five years later.

Connie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Marje Guest of Kalispell; her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Kelly Guest of Kalispell; daughter, Barbara Guest, of Billings; sisters, Charlotte Bostic and Suzanne Hutchson, also of Kalispell; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; daughter, Terry Beebe; grandson, Michael Beebe; and brother, Steve Deitrick.

Due to Connie’s sudden passing, a ceremony and memorial will be announced at a later date so as friends and family residing in distant places may attend.
