Kalispell skijoring races moved to March

| December 22, 2018 4:00 AM

Skijoring at Rebecca Farm has been rescheduled to the weekend of March 2 and 3 due to the lack of snow on the ground and in the forecast for the coming week. The event was originally scheduled for Dec. 29 and 30.

“As Montanans, we are all too familiar with the unpredictable nature of the weather,” said Skijoring at Rebecca Farm organizer Sarah Broussard. “Unfortunately this winter there has been minimal snowfall to date, which means we are unable to build the thrilling course we had planned. However, we are still looking forward to bringing an exciting skijoring competition to the Flathead Valley later in the season.”

Montana Equestrian Events is committed to creating a quality experience for both spectators and competitors and hopes to see everyone at the farm in March. This winter’s competition will mark the second time Rebecca Farm has hosted skijoring after an inaugural year which drew thousands of spectators and nearly 90 teams.
