Pig's potbelly is getting smaller

The potbelly pig has resurfaced in Columbia Falls again! A person called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report she had it in her goat pen, but it appeared to be pretty thin, which might make it less than a potbelly.

A man who lives in Polson called because the person he loaned his truck to was in the county jail and he wasn’t sure how to get the vehicle back. He tried to get in touch with the imprisoned man and also spoke with the probation officer, but to no avail. A deputy spoke to the man in an attempt to help him.

A man who called in August to report that his gun had been stolen, called back because he had found it in a box in his home.

A lady said she had 20 gallons of fuel stolen from her shed, which was broken into by unknown persons. However, she didn’t want any officers to come to her home, just to call.

The mailbox thefts continue in Bigfork. A man said he thought a package that contained a $25 pair of ski goggles were stolen in the last week or so.
