An alternative compact

I have read the Peoples Compact, available online. It is mostly an easy read and certainly very thorough. Most people would agree that having a compact is better than no compact. I support a good compact. Support is necessary and like any good idea, it must be shared. The action necessary is simply to write a one paragraph personal letter to Sen. Steve Daines, Sen. Tester and Rep. Greg Gianforte. Encourage our elected officials to read and to support an alternative water compact. Time is of the essence. A new narrative, is that so bad? Truly the worst case in doing your own research is to better understand what all the hub bub is about. Montana’s future water uses are a pretty big deal. There is nothing to lose and likely everything to gain upon educating yourself.

Heating assistance

I would like to know why working people cannot receive heating assistance because they make approximately $20 too much monthly? Yet, people on welfare can sit nice and cozy warm and not pay a dime? Don’t work, don’t contribute, yet can sit nice and warm. Since I have an income, get up go to work for 40 hours a week, I have to regulate my heat in order to pay the heat bill? Seems something is not right about this.

Automatic charges

Dr. Michael Boharski’s editorial on health-care costs at KRMC did not include the extra charge of 10 percent, added automatically, when billing the patient. The 10 percent if the insurance company had not paid within 14 days.

This 10 percent is added to the bill automatically. Anyone have an insurance company pay that quickly?
