- The Whitefish Winter Carnival Grand Parade is sure to be full of costumed characters, fun floats and good times. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. Feb. 3 in downtown Whitefish. Carpooling and early arrival is recommended as the carnival celebration always draws a crowd.
- Fathers and daughters of the Flathead Valley can enjoy a night of dancing, desserts and door prizes Feb. 2 at the O’Shaughnessy Center during the Father-Daughter Winter Ball hosted by the Whitefish Theatre Company.
- Take a dip in the icy waters of Whitefish Lake at the annual Whitefish Winter Carnival Penguin Plunge. Or better yet — stay dry and watch the fun! The plunge takes place at 11 a.m. on Whitefish City Beach.
- Stop by Depot Park in Whitefish for a gander at the first annual Snow Sculpture Symposium entries. On Friday, sculptors will begin work on their creations and will wrap up their efforts the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 4.
