Phone thief fibs to owner

According to the Kalispell Police Department, a woman texted her missing phone, and someone replied they would return the phone. But then the person stopped replying.

A bartender found a man in overalls sleeping on the pavement near the back door. He requested law enforcement ask the man to move along.

Tracks in the snow indicated people were checking car doors. The reporting party said it looked like the suspects tried to get into more than twenty vehicles.
