Kenneth Charles Rheaume, 76, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center from an unexpected illness.

Kenneth was born Oct. 1, 1941, in Chicopee, Massachusetts, to Oswald and Laura (Babineau) Rheaume. Kenneth attended school to the 10th grade at Trade High School in Springfield, Massachusetts, and then went on to join the Navy, serving from 1958 as a machinist mate to 1962 when he was honorably discharged.

He married Beverly Glenn on Dec. 1, 1974, in Las Vegas. Kenneth worked for 22 years in government services as a postal machine mechanic.

Kenneth was an artist that loved woodworking, leather crafts, restoring cars, genealogy and a cowboy shooter, which led him to become a life member of the Bigfork Gun Club.

He cherished his loving and close relationship with his wife Beverly, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Beverly (Glenn) Rheaume, of Bigfork; children, Randall Vincent Rheaume of Temecula, California, William Rheaume of Azusa, California, and Jennifer Margaret Peralta of Upland, California; grandchildren, Angela, Tracy, Nathan, Patricia, Alexandrea, Laura, Dustin, Hannah and Katherine; brother, Jim, and his wife, Maureen Rheaume; his sister, Grace, and her husband, Norman Vigneault; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is being planned for this summer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity, the Bigfork Fire and Rescue, Kalispell Regional Healthcare Foundation ER, hospice or Cancer Services.
