C-Falls girls, boys sweep Whitefish

WHITEFISH — Columbia Falls needed a big fourth quarter to pull away from stubborn Whitefish for a 61-38 Northwest A girls basketball victory Thursday evening.

Columbia Falls outscored Whitefish 28-9 in the final frame to win going away.

Columbia Falls led 17-16 at halftime.

Ryley Kehr led a balanced Columbia Falls attack with 15 points. Hannah Gedlaman followed with 14 and Trista Cowan netted 12.

Marlee Bender topped Whitefish with a season-high 16 points.
