Northwest A conference basketball

tournaments start Thursday at Ronan

The Northwest A conference boys and girls basketball tournaments begin play Thursday afternoon at the Ronan Events Center.

Two games are scheduled for boys and girls.

Two boys and two girls teams have first-round byes.

The tournament ends with championship games Saturday evening — 6:30 p.m. girls and 8 p.m. boys.

The Western divisional tournament follows Feb. 22-26 in Butte.

The top four teams from divisonal play advance to state tournament action.
