Marion fire goes out with a bang
Around 30 storage units at Marion Security Storage off U.S. 2 in Marion reportedly caught fire at around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Flathead County Sheriff’s Office report. According to the report, a reporting party stated that one of the units contained multiple large propane tanks and ammunition, which allegedly started going off as a result of the fire. Multiple agencies were dispatched to the scene, but no injuries were reported.
A dispute between neighbors reportedly ended in a trash bag full of dead animals on a woman’s lawn. According to the woman, her neighbor allegedly shot her dog after it got out and killed several of his chickens. By law the man had the right to shoot the dog, but he then allegedly put both the dead dog and chickens into a trash bag and threw it into the woman’s yard.
Flathead County Sherriff’s deputies and Evergreen Fire responded to a diesel spill off U.S. 2. According to the report, between 50 and 80 gallons spilled, resulting in partial road blockage.
A woman accused her neighbor of invasion of privacy, stating he had allegedly “been sneaking around the outside of her apartment.” The woman said she also believed the man had gained access to the attic above her apartment. Additionally, the woman said the same neighbor was “heavily into drug use,” claiming her son had gone to his apartment to play video games and had sent a picture allegedly showing an illegal substance and needles from inside the home.

A black shepherd puppy was reportedly found and taken to the county animal shelter.
