No. 25041 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WEST VALLEY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT ANNEXATION The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice, pursuant to Section 7-33-2125(1)(b), M.C.A., that it will hold a public hearing to consider a petition to annex territory into the West Valley Rural Fire District. WHEREAS, the property to be annexed is described as follows: The NE1/4 and SW1/4 of Section 35, Township 29 N, Range 23 W, as described on Certificate of Survey No. 20133, records of Flathead County, Montana The Board of Commissioners has received a petition in writing by the owners of 100% of the land of the area to be annexed asking that such area be annexed into the West Valley Rural Fire District, thereby altering the boundaries of the Flathead County Fire Service Area by transferring the property as described above into the West Valley Rural Fire District. The public hearing will be held on January 24, 2018 at 10:00AM in the Commissioners' Chambers, located on the third floor of the old County Courthouse at 800 South Main Street in Kalispell, Montana. At the public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will give the public an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed annexation and will consider a protest petition, if one is presented at the hearing that is signed by a majority of the landowners of the area proposed for annexation, which would prevent the annexation. No. 25042 NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION WESTSIDE ZONING DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice pursuant to Section 76-2-205(5), M.C.A., that it passed a resolution of intention (Resolution No. 678BD) on January 2, 2018, to change the zoning designation in a portion of the Westside Zoning District from SAG-10 (Suburban Agricultural) to I-1 (Light Industrial). The boundaries of the area proposed to be amended from SAG-10 to I-1 are described as: Tract 1 of COS 20567, a tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana.
