William C. Dye, 77

Willam “Bill” Dye passed away Jan. 7, 2018, at North Valley Hospital. He was 77.

Bill was born July 20, 1940, to Lena and Clayton Dye. He had four siblings, who preceded him in death, LaVerne Dye, David Dye, Beverly Drollinger and Denny Dye.

Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Dye; his son, Erik Dye, and wife Joyce; and daughters, Kelly Lambertus and Tiffanie Dye. He had two grandchildren, Autumn Van Orden, and Tyler Selke; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Bill passionately loved his Lord and Savior! He never hesitated to share his faith.

Bill was always positive and happy-go-lucky. He had a gift of uplifting anyone around him. Being a lifelong resident of Kalispell, Bill was the go-to historian in the family.

He was a hairstylist for 56 years and was currently working at Adelphe’s Salon.

To say Bill was loved and will be missed dearly is an understatement. He left a beautiful family with many wonderful memories to cherish that will put a smile in their days.

“I’ll miss you, my darling husband. Thanks for always wanting to dance with me in the kitchen every Sunday. You were one in a million! I love you, Bill. Rest now, honey.”

There will be visitation for Bill from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Epworth United Methodist Church, across the street from the Hockaday Museum.
