Michael Anthony O'Brien

| January 20, 2018 12:47 AM

Michael Anthony O’Brien “went peacefully to be with the Lord” on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, in Spokane, enveloped in prayer and surrounded by those who loved him.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and grew up in Toledo, Ohio, where he spent his days exploring. While Michael spent his later years in Montana, in reality, Michael lived most of his life in his car. He loved to travel and loved everyone he met along the way. He was a great motivator and helped thousands of people by sharing his love and knowledge of physical and spiritual health and well-being. His charismatic and outgoing personality was complimented by the frog he always carried in his pocket and his favorite phrase, “Every day above ground is great!”

Michael took great joy in spending time with his family and was blessed in life by his six children, 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Pattee; his brother John, and sister Patricia. He also leaves a son, Timothy O’Brien, and daughters Naomi Hegger, Rebecca Gaynor and Brittiny Taylor.

He was preceded in death by two of his children, Rachael and McLane O’Brien; and one brother.

Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday Jan. 26, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, Washington.
