Rosiland 'Rosi' Nolan, 82

Rosiland “Rosi” Nolan, 82, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, formerly of Kalispell, died peacefully at a local nursing home on Jan. 19, 2018. Born on Sept. 25, 1935, in Waterloo, Iowa, she is the daughter of Beryl and Lena (Land) Johnson.

Rosi proudly served in the United States Air Force for three years.

On Dec. 10, 1955, she married James Nolan, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1993.

Rosi worked as a certified nursing assistant at Kalispell Regional Medical Center for 29 years.

She was an avid crafter who enjoyed plastic canvas, knitting, scrapbooking and crocheting. Rosi also enjoyed reading, spending time with family, studying God’s word, and volunteering with the Awana Club.

Rosi is survived by five children, William (Vickie) Nolan of Houston, Alan (Colleen) Nolan of Hillsboro, Oregon, Charissa (Gary) Boerner of Dillon, Montana, Steven Nolan (Jan) of Twain Harte, California, and David (Laura) Nolan of Green Bay; 10 grandchildren, Stacy, James, Andrea, Tim, Michael, Brandy, Craig, Michelle, Josh and Ryan; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis (Bonnie), Dick (Sherry), and Jim (Sharon) Johnson; one sister, Patricia Nieman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Donnie Johnson; one sister, Jane Johnson; and one brother-in-law, Bob Nieman.

A celebration of her life will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, at Faith Chapel, 800 High Meadow Court, Green Bay.
