Anna “Louise” Dibble, 100

Anna “Louise” Dibble, just turned 100 this past Thanksgiving Day, has passed away of natural causes in Bigfork on Jan. 22, 2018, “and is now in the presence of our Lord.”

Louise was born Nov. 23, 1917 in Naches, Washington. She grew up on a farm in Naches, along with eight siblings, who all have preceded her “in standing before Jesus.”

She was an amazing woman and had the kindest heart. She always laughed and giggled and had a great sense of humor.

Having been divorced and left alone to raise three small children, she worked at a fruit packing company for 25 cents per hour to care for her three children.

In her younger years, she was in Yakima, Washington, to shop and the car radio announced the end of World War II. Her car was immediately covered with confetti thrown from the buildings along the street. Leaving Yakima she had another experience we will likely never see. She had to wait for a horse and buggy to pass. They still had the right of way over cars.

She eventually remarried and had two more children. She taught Sunday school at Edmonds Baptist Church in Edmonds, Washington. When she was 58 years old, she took a job at Crista Ministries in Seattle and retired at age 84! Her love for the Lord has been an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved to sing, dance, crochet and do lots of different crafts.

Louise leaves behind sons, Larry Gordon of Everett, Washington, and Chuck Gordon of Anacortes, Washington; and her daughter, Donna Mudie, of Bigfork; also 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was truly blessed by all her family.

She was preceded by her husband William Joseph Dibble, and her sons Myron Gordon and Fred Dibble.
