Sue Bolken, 73

Sue Bolken, 73, of Whitefish, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018.

She was born in 1945 in Kansas, the second of nine siblings. Sue graduated from Shelby High School and in October of 1963 married Paul Bolken. They lived in Oregon, North Dakota and Arizona until they retired in Whitefish.

Sue is survived by her children, Synnove (Thomas) Fitzpatrick, and Paul (Teresa) Bolken; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and all eight of her siblings, Charles Howell, Judy Hanson, Jerry Howell, Tom Howell, Sally Clark, Cheryl Delzer, Patsy Postma and Peggy Taylor, and their families; along with many other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Perry and Betty Howell; husband, Paul; and son, Anthony.

A private burial will take place in Shelby.

Arrangements are under the care of Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory.
