Self-inflicted spear wound sends man to ER

A person ended up at the hospital emergency room after he accidentally wounded himself with a homemade spear. The man said he had fashioned a knife to a spear with a rope and was throwing it at a tree.

A person showed up at the Kalispell Police Department with an injured duck in a garbage bag. Someone did take the duck to help it.

A person called to report a dispute with a neighbor that involved allegations of trespassing and a blanket on a fence. The other man was told to stay off his neighbor’s property.

A caller wanted to see if anyone had turned in a dolly that fell of his truck while he was driving to Northridge.

A woman reported $500 stolen from her purse.

A caller said someone was running a pressure washer late at night. The person said they would stop for the night.

A driver complained about 12 cars parked on the wrong side. When an officer checked, there were no illegally parked cars.

Someone reported a woman driving with her head out of the window of black Ford Explorer that had its hood up, obstructing her view. A second caller reported the woman was parked in a lot working to latch the hood. The caller believed the woman might have been under the influence, but an officer spoke to her and she was apparently having a bad day.

A man who had previously reported being harassed found that someone had unscrewed his porch light and shattered it on his porch. He believed it was the same person.

A woman believed her ex-husband in California was trying to put a hit out on her. She wanted it logged in case something happened. She also learned how to obtain a temporary restraining order.

A woman called to report her met-addicted boyfriend stole her debit card and withdrew $40. The card was deactivated.
