A couple walking on a city street picked a bad time to get into a fight since an off-duty Kalispell Police Department officer was walking behind them. A woman called after a man followed her to her apartment and twisted the door knob. He was described as a tall, white male with medium-length curly hair and baggy clothes. He left a few minutes later.

A person reported a car that had rolled out of its parking space and into the street. An officer spoke with the owner who said he’d move it back where it belonged.

A crowing rooster had yet to mend its noisy ways according to a caller who complained about their nieghbor’s animal.

A man in charge of a road project called about drivers speeding in a construction zone and some not stopping at a stop sign. He was asking for extra patrol and also wanted to talk to the city department about some low-hanging trees that may have been blocking visibility.

A man called to report someone stole a number of multipurpose ladders from his work site and wanted to ask for extra patrol in the area.

A man had to stop and change his tire after he ran over a large chunk of concrete, just west of the old Reserve turnoff. An officer assisted him and removed the 2-foot-long and six-inch piece.
