Bicyclist injured in alleged hit-and-run

According to a Kalispell Police report, the driver of a new Toyota 4Runner reportedly hit a bicyclist on a bypass exit. A witness said they saw the alleged victim on the ground on the ramp, bleeding from his mouth and nose but conscious and talking. The man was reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment.

A group of people was reported for allegedly shooting off fireworks in a dry, grassy area near Three Mile Drive.

A man reportedly broke the window out of a woman’s car at a gas station and then left the scene on foot.

According to a Flathead County Sheriff’s report, a drunk man was reportedly seen shooting stray cats off U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls.

Someone reportedly stole some cash and an electronic device out of an unlocked car sitting in an open garage on Spruce Meadows Loop.

Deputies responded to reports of animal cruelty where a dog was reportedly left in the bed of a truck at a river access point. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the dog was not in distress, had access to two large bowls of water with ice cubes and was in the shade. The officer removed multiple vulgar notes left by other people in regards to the dog being left in the car and left his own note requesting the owner call him when he was done fishing.

Three horses reportedly got loose and went for a jog down U.S. 2.

A man reportedly sprayed bear spray in a trailer with four people inside. According to the report, the man was drunk and mean. His reasons for spraying the subjects inside were unknown.

According to a Columbia Falls Police report, two females and a male were reportedly “screwing around” and trying to make a truck fishtail when they lost control of the vehicle, crashed it through a fence and into a tree. The two women claimed the man was driving, but after the crash he allegedly fled the scene.
