Brandon Michael Barnes, 29

Brandon Michael Barnes, 29, passed away June 7, 2018, in Williston, North Dakota, due to an accident.

He was born Feb. 3, 1989, in Sacramento, California. He was raised and attended school in Columbia Falls and later received his GED.

Brandon was all boy from the moment he was born. He enjoyed all Montana had to offer, from four-wheeling in the summer to sledding in the winter.

Most recently, he had been working as a wireline operator for Patriot Well Solutions. He had also worked as a derrick hand and roustabout.

Brandon loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially love spending time with his children. He was an excellent father. His best friend was his dog, Handsome.

Brandon touched many lives, had many friends and was deeply loved.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Barnes; maternal grandfathers, William Krause and George Hawes; and paternal grandfather, Lloyd Barnes.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Kara Krause, of Kalispell; father, Patrick Barnes, of California; his children, Orrin Barnes, Christopher Barnes, Richard Flint and Hailey Miller; his brothers, Anthony Barnes of Kalispell and Daniel Becotte of California; sister, Amanda Curtin, of California; and his grandmothers, Lynn Hawes of Kalispell and Judy Barnes of California.

A celebration of life for Brandon will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at 19 Syth Lane in Kalispell. A barbecue is planned. Come when you can.
