Caroline (Zeller) Galloway, 82

Caroline (Zeller) Galloway, 82, passed away on June 14, 2018, after a prolonged illness and a valiant fight.

Caroline was born Oct. 6, 1935, in eastern Montana near Sidney on her parents’ farm, the third youngest of 15 children.

In 1954 she met Dennis “Denny” Galloway, a young ranch hand/mechanic. They were wed in October of 1955. Known to family and neighbors as Grandma, Caroline enjoyed life, had a great sense of humor and was a 56-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 234.

She bowled on several leagues, enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, her good friends and the mountains of western Montana.

Caroline had six sons, Dennis W., Arnold, Robert, Craig, Thomas and Timothy.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelm and Louise Zeller; her husband, Dennis; and two infant sons, Thomas and Timothy.

Caroline is survived by her sons, Dennis W. (Janet) of Kalispell, four children and 10 grandchildren; Arnold (Maria) of Somerset, Texas, three children and five grandchildren; Robert (Lori) of Great Falls, four children and four grandchildren; Craig (Cindy) of Kalispell, two children.

A funeral service celebrating Caroline’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, at Darlington Cremation and Burial Service, 3408 U.S. Hwy. 2 East. Interment will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A reception in her honor will follow at the Eagles, 37 First St. West, Kalispell. Darlington Cremation and Burial Service is caring for Caroline’s family.
