Wife reportedly takes cash and runs

According to the Kalispell Police Department, a man said he and his wife are getting a divorce and his wife took almost $10,000 cash from their safe.

A driver said they were rear ended and the other driver was aggressive with him, threatening to sic his pit bull on him. A witness of the accident reported separately that it looked like the driver who was rear ended deliberately slammed on his brakes.

A semi-truck ran into a van in a gas station parking lot, but instead of stopping, the driver continued onto the highway.

A call about smoke coming from the basement of a home turned out to be a false alarm.

A man said he got a scam call from “foreign talking” individuals who told him he needed his credit card number changed. He said the caller put the phone down and he could hear a lot of background noise and then the caller hung up.

A man said his father went missing while traveling with his wife in Idaho. His father was located at a medical center after a non-serious injury vehicle accident.

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, a caller saw a man with gray hair and a beard dragging a sleeping bag on the street, and thought he needed to be checked on.

A rental business said they came to repossess some items and a woman was being hostile. She later settled down and they were able to get the items.
