FVCC hosts dance classes next month

Flathead Valley Community College will host dance classes in jitterbug, salsa, Western waltz and ballroom dancing through their Continuing Education Center beginning in April.

Taught by Julene Krause, the classes offer dancers of all skill levels the chance to learn some new moves. Neither experience nor partners are required.

Two sessions of “Traditional Jitterbug - Swing” are scheduled to begin in April.

The first session will run Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m., April 2-16. The second session will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m., April 23 - May 7.

“Western Waltz and Ballroom” is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m., April 23 - May 7.

“Salsa” is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m., April 2-16.

Additional dance classes will be offered this summer, with the schedule to be announced in April.

Cost to participate is $45 per person per session.
