Howard W. Gipe, 86

Howard W. Gipe, 86, of Kalispell died April 29, 2018, in Whitefish.

Howard is survived by his wife Sandi, and his children Walter Gipe, Connie Peters, Renae Kraft, John Kvaalen, James Kvaalen, Michelle Quartieri and Cricket Sparks.

There will be a funeral service held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Easthaven Baptist Church, with a precession to follow the service at 2 p.m. down Main Street Kalispell to honor Howard’s service to our community as Flathead County Commissioner for many years. Those that would like to join in one final ride with Howard are encouraged to do so during this procession. We will be staging at 2 p.m. in the field across from the Towne Printer. United Veterans of the Flathead and the United States Air Force will be providing honors on the day of service.
